Project description

Opening in 2026 on Saint Joseph University’s campus, the Beirut Museum of Modern Art (BeMA) will be a key landmark along Beirut’s “museum mile.” Built on three pillars—Safeguard, Create, Engage—BeMA aims to preserve Lebanon’s artistic heritage, support local and international creativity, and connect communities through education and cultural programs. Designed with a strong environmental philosophy, the museum will feature dedicated spaces for comics, emerging artists, archives, and multipurpose events. As a dynamic public space, BeMA will serve as a creative hub, academic center, and cultural home for all.
