Project Description

Scheduled for completion in 2024, the Sharaan complex will include 40 suites, 2 villas, and 12 private pavilions, all built within the mountains of the Sharaan Nature Reserve in Al Ula. The fluid systems design emphasizes sustainability, aiming for minimal environmental impact with low water and energy use, zero waste, and zero emissions on-site. Heating and cooling needs are met using 4-pipe air-source heat pumps located in a central utility center. The water network is optimized to reduce consumption and limit groundwater extraction. Main water supply comes from boreholes feeding a raw water reservoir, then filtered and treated by reverse osmosis to achieve drinking water quality.
