Project Description

The Hatta Summit Complex integrates cutting-edge electromechanical systems within a challenging mountainous terrain. Designed with sustainability, resilience, and advanced connectivity in mind, the MEP concept features the following key components: • Smart, IoT-Enabled Systems: o All electromechanical systems are designed around IoT technology, enabling real-time monitoring and centralized control for optimized performance and maintenance. • Energy Infrastructure: o Each cable car station is equipped with its own independent, resilient power generation and distribution center to ensure reliability in this remote location. • Climate Control: o All buildings, including the summit station and hotel areas, use high-efficiency HVAC systems. o Air handling units are equipped with dual heat recovery wheels to maximize energy efficiency. o Heat pump systems distribute domestic hot water throughout the complex. • Water and Drainage Systems: o The summit station employs a vacuum drainage system due to the steep and inaccessible terrain. o All plumbing fixtures are selected for low water consumption, supporting sustainability goals. • Electric Mobility & Renewables: o Electric vehicle charging points are integrated throughout the site. o The entire complex prioritizes the use of renewable energy sources and low-emission technologies to align with Dubai’s green building goals. • Sustainability Certification: o The project aims for Silver Certification under the Al Sa’afa – Dubai Green Building System through a holistic environmental quality strategy. • Smart Platform Integration: o A centralized smart management system oversees energy optimization, system performance, and sustainability compliance across all stations and buildings.
